Background

My working life started with a management traineeship at Ahold. After corporate-, operations- and buying functions, I really wanted to have more impact on consumer behavior in retail. So I started as format manager developing the future stores of Albert Heijn, based on consumer insights combined with retail “high-tech”. Later I asked myself the question: “Wouldn’t it be great to apply my consumer and innovation knowledge for a broad variety of organizations? Yes, of course!” Therefore I joined SunIdee as a partner in 2009, working on lots of challenging innovation projects.

Passion

Working and getting ahead with dedicated teams of organizations I work with. Reaching a high energy level and really adding value by applying in depth consumer insight and smart innovation tools. Thinking in opportunities instead of barriers. Getting to practical solutions, ready to succeed when getting to market. Besides the passion in my work, I love hockey, golf, music and hanging out with my family. So you’re invited for a round of golf and talk about your innovation challenges anytime. (warning: I always want to win)

Expertise

Next to my retail expertise and projects, I’ve been working on a wide variety of innovation projects for FMCG, private label producers and other manufacturers. Although food and beverage products have been the majority of my work so far, our approach covers your innovation questions in all sorts, sizes, branches and organizations. B2B or B2C, it’s all about your customer!
